Hayford’s Political Action Committee

We are a group of committed individuals and corporations who have worked with or been associated with Mr. Hayford Siaw and believe in his leadership, dedication, and commitment to the people of Ghana. Over the last 16 years of his career, he has committed himself to working in the development sector, starting a charity to take care of orphans, building a school in a rural community for the underprivileged, building a hospital to facilitate health care delivery in a rural community, undertaking community literacy interventions to support children to read, and providing opportunities for people all over the world to participate in his voluntary projects in his country.

In 2018, the President of Ghana, recognizing the industrious 32-year-old Ghanaian, appointed him to lead the second-oldest public institution established by law in Ghana, the Ghana Library Authority, an institution mandated to establish, equip, maintain, and manage public libraries in Ghana. He has excelled, and his efforts have gained global recognition. In 2021, the London International Book Fair Excellence Awards declared the Ghana Library Authority the Library of the Year 2021. He also won the United Nations Public Service Awards 2021 for innovation in promoting equitable access to technology education for the Ghana Library Authority. In 2018, Queen Elizabeth II recognized Hayford as the 15th Point of Light Awardee.

In December 2024, Ghanaians will be heading to the polls to elect a new president and parliamentarians.

The goal of this Political Action Committee is to mobilize resources to support the bid of Mr. Hayford Siaw to represent his community in the Parliament of Ghana, where his voice and influence can propel major policy changes that can benefit a larger Ghanaian population.
